Live 3D broadcasting from AMU in Prague to University of Hawaii (Concert of harp and guitar)

TIPS 2013Sound Studio HAMU, Musical Acoustic Research Centre MARC, Computer Centre of AMU and CESNET, z.s.p.o. as a registered participant of an international conference APAN (Association of Asian NRENs) and Internet2 (North American high-speed network) TIP2013 held at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu, perform first 3D live broadcasting between the hall of Sound Studio HAMU in Prague and Conference hall in Honolulu. Broadcasting was finished on Tuesday, January 15, 2013. The preparation and transmission was successfully realized in close cooperation with all participants.

This musical performance was presented by CESNET Association in the eCulture section and was called "Low-latency transmission with 3D video". The technical part and the actual execution of the concert were met with great success and were appreciated by both leading eCulture WG Dr Faridah Noor and APAN president Dea Young Kim.  

President Dea Young Kim made an offer to the team leader with a possibility of new participation in the next international APAN meeting in South Korea. The professor of dances Ivani Santana from Brazil, who leads a group of professional Brazilian dancers, even expressed interest in cooperation on 3D broadcasting.
