1. One Prelude and Fugue from the Well-Tempered Klavier by J. S. Bach
2. Two concert etudes, at least one by Chopin
3. One novement form a sonata a varation from the Classical period (Haydn, Beethoven, etc), independent variations may also be performed (for example, the 32 Beethoven variations or an independent composition in sonata Form
4. One composition from the Romantic period
