NOVÁ GENERACE: GALIOVÁ, ŠTURMOVÁ, BELLOMO, KROUPOVÁ

Nová generace je platforma uvádějící jevištní tvorbu studentů oboru choreografie na Katedře tance HAMU. Na programu tentokrát budou díla autorek Gabriely Galiové, Jolany Šturmové, Claudie Bellomo a Anny Kroupové.

Gabriela Galiová: REM
I couldn't do anything.
I expected to die at any moment.
My body, suddenly it wasn't mine.
What was wrong?
I was at my place, like every night.
But suddenly I wanted to leave.
I didn't want to go to sleep every night.
Just fear, hallucinations, immobility.
And sleep nowhere.

Jolana Šturmová: The End of Blaho?
Co je to blaho? Chceme víc, ale máme všechno. Blaho je touha, návyková látka, kterou prostě chceš. Čtyři stěny a sama v sobě. Čas plyne jinak a já se nacházím na zvláštním místě, které tak dobře znám. Teď se všechno mění, už jdu zase s davem a nechávám se opít BLAHEM.

What is welfare? We want more but we already have everything. Welfare is a desire, an addictive substance which you really need. Four walls and I am in myself. Time flows differently and I am in a strange place which I know very well. Now everything is changing. I am going with the crowd and I get drunk with welfare again.

Claudia Bellomo: Love & Rituals
My choreography is inspired by the book “the unbearable lightness of being” , it’s the most famous novel of the Czech writer Milan Kundera. Nn my piece, I chose to focus on the relationship between Tomas and Tereza. Tomas has a dual personality :
He loves Tereza, but at the same time he constantly betrays her and cannot stop doing it. Tereza is aware of her husband's betrayals and this situation provokes her nightmares and instability.
My choreographic idea was taken from the fragment of the book that describes one nightmare of Tereza. She dreams of marching naked around a swimming pool together with Tomas' lovers. In her dream, Tomas wants to kill all his lovers, he forces them to sing and laugh, and they are somehow glad to be all identical, as their bodies were valueless and soulless like simple sound mechanisms. My choreographic idea is to perform a ritual of women having a joyful solidarity of soulless human beings. The women, content with their identity are in fact celebrating their future death that will make their identity absolute.

Anna Kroupová: 174 517
Häftling: naučil jsem se, že jsem häftling. Jmenuji se 174 517. Každý den ráno ustlat „postel“ tak, aby byla dokonale rovná a hladká, mazat zablácené a odpudivé dřeváky průmyslovým tukem, vyhrazeným k tomuto účelu, oškrábat ze šatů bláto (ale skvrny od barvy, tuku a od rzi jsou povoleny); večer se musíme nechat prohlédnout, jestli nemáme vši a jestli máme umyté nohy; v sobotu se musíme nechat oholit, ostříhat a zašít si nebo si dát spravit šaty; v neděli generální prohlídka svrabu a knoflíků u saka, kterých musí být pět.

Häftling: I learned I’m häftling. My name is 174 517.
Every morning make the „bed“ so it’s perfectly smooth and plain, cream the repulsing muddy clogs with industrial fat specifically reserved for this purpose, scratch the mud off of the clothes (though colour, fat and rust stains are allowed); each night we need to check ourselves for louses and whether our feet has been washed; on Saturdays we have to get ourselves shaved, barbed and have our clothes sown or fix them ourselves; on Sundays there’s thorough check for scabies and also jacket buttons, which there has to be five of.
