DEAN

The Dean's position is determined by law, in particular Section 28 of the Higher Education Act, as amended (the "Act"). The Dean is the head of the faculty and acts and decides on matters regarding the faculty unless otherwise stipulated by law. The site of the Dean's headquarters and office (the "HAMU Dean's office") is the Liechtenstein Palace, Malostranské náměstí 13, 118 00 Prague 1. The Dean is appointed and dismissed by the HAMU rector at the proposal of the academic senate. The Dean's term of office is four years.
