EBSCO Information Services is the leading provider of e-journals, magazine subscriptions, e-books and discovery service to libraries of all kinds in the form of bibliographic and full-text research databases.
Presented databases are provided in a broad variety of languages, most notably in English, German, French or Spanish. Those include Academic Serach Complete, Film & Television Literature Index with Full Text or GreenFILE.
AMU subscription to EBSCO is enabled via participation in MŠMT (Ministry of education, youth and sports) programme "INFOZ - informační zdroje pro výzkum" (Information resources for academic research) and "Zabezpečení elektronických zdrojů pro výzkum, vývoj a inovace" (Securing the electronic resources for academic research, development and innovations) project of National Library of Czech Republic.
For remote login (outside AMU computer network) choose Czech academic identity federation eduID.cz from the list of federations and subsequently Akademie múzických umění v Praze. For database login use your AMU username and password.

EBSCO databases often contain full issues of periodicals covering a broad selection of topics from arts and social sciences (cca 3200 Anglo-American journals focusing on art, science, academic, society or hobbies). Including but not limited to many notable movie magazines available online with archived issues dating back up to 15 years.
