Sound Design Department offers a constituent background for students and pedagogues of the Sound Design and Music Directing study fields and provides an instruction of specialised theoretical and practical study subjects. On top of that the department supplies the instruction of selected study subjects for the Department of Sound Design of FAMU (e.g. Sound directing of a musical record) or the instruction of facultative study subjects for other study fields of Music and Dance faculty HAMU (e.g. Voice, Basic Sound Engineering for Musicians, et al.). Sound Design Department resides in the premises of HAMU's Sound studio.
