STATEMENT IN SUPPORT OF MARRIAGE FOR EVERYONE FROM INGEBORG RADOK ŽÁDNÁ, RECTOR OF THE ACADEMY OF PERFORMING ARTS IN PRAGUE

I would like to publicly voice my support for the enactment of the legislation on marriage for everyone. I see the demand for this as a symbolic and significant contribution towards freedom and equality in terms of human dignity and rights in accordance with the Charter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms. In my capacity as the Rector of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, I am convinced that many of my colleagues also encourage efforts geared towards changing the mindset and perceptions in society with a view to eliminating disadvantages and inequalities in all areas of our life.
