Thanks to a nomination by Sir John Eliot Gardiner conducts the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra for the very first time. Since then serves in an unoficial position of conductor-assistant, prepares concerts for other conductors, conducts his own concerts and stand-in concerts.

Graduates conducting studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague in the class of prof. Radomil Eliška, Jiří Bělohlávek and others. Becomes regular member of the international team of conductors of the Ostrava Days International Music Festival and appears for the first time in the programme of the Prague Spring International Music Festival

Wins 4th place and Honorary Mention in the Prague Spring International Conducting Competition

Serves as assistant to chiefconductor Vladimír Válek at the Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra. Graduates with the same ensemble in Dvořák Hall of Rudolfinum in Prague

Receives final contract for the position of Solohornplayer of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra

Graduates French Horn class at the Prague Conservatoire and starts studying conducting there as well

Starts extensive solistic career with dozens of both Czech and forign ensembles (among other Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Flemish Philharmonic, Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra, Bavarian Chamber Orchestra, Sólistes Européenes Luxembourg, NCPA Orchestra Beijing, Augsburg Philharmonic Orchestra, State Philharmonic Košice, Rzeszow Philharmonic, Lviv Philharmonic) under the baton of world class conductors (Sir John Eliot Gardiner, Edo de Waart, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Ian Volkov, Lü Jia and others). Also his activity on the field of chamber music is very rich (before all Maurice Bourgue Ensemble, Juventus Quintet, Brahms Trio Prague, PhilHarmonia Octet etc). Records extensively for Czech Radio Czech TV and for gramophone companies (Supraphon, Artesmon, Universal Music).

Wins the title of Absolute winner in the Competition of Conservatoires in Ostrava and also beats older and far more experienced colleagues in the audition for the position of the Solohornplayer of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra
