SUPPORT FOR PARTICIPATION IN SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCES

The Department of Science and Research can provide support for participation in major scientific conferences both in the Czech Republic and abroad. Applications may be submitted by master’s and doctoral students, as well as academic and research staff. The level of employment is not a determining factor.

Applications should be submitted to the Vice Dean for Science, Research, and Innovation at HAMU, Doc. MgA. Hana Strejčková, Ph.D., with a copy to the project manager, Ing. Kamila Mikešová.

Applications for support may be submitted on an ongoing basis between January 1 and November 15 of the given calendar year. The amount available for distribution for the calendar year is limited.

The funding criteria are listed in the application. The decision to grant or deny funding and to determine the amount is made by the Vice-Dean for Scientific and Research Activities at HAMU in cooperation with HAMU’s administration. The grant is not an entitlement; it is drawn from currently available funds allocated for science and research within the framework of AMU’s long-term conceptual development program. A condition for receiving the grant is a commitment to submit a final report within 14 days of the trip’s conclusion. You will be informed of the decision regarding your application within 14 days.
