DEAN'S DECREE NO. 09/2024 - ON THE OPERATION OF HAMU DURING THE SUMMER HOLIDAYS 2024

The Dean of the Music and Dance Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague determines the operation of HAMU campus during the summer holidays from 1 July 2024 to 1 September 2024 as follows:  
 

ARTICLE 1
AVAILABILITY AND OFFICE HOURS

Please observe the hours specified below.  
Liechtenstein Palace (LP)  
●    The LP concierge will be open 24 hours a day 
●    For all HAMU employees, the faculty offices located in the LP will be open weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; the faculty campus is closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. The closure is necessary due to the implementation of repairs and general cleaning of the premises.  

For all HAMU students the faculty premises, which are in LP, will be accessible on weekdays from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm; Saturdays, Sundays and holidays the fakulty campus is closed. 
Students will be allowed access to the faculty for the purpose of practicing only on the basis of enrollment in the reservation system to specific classrooms and premises of the respective department, which have been designated by the head of the respective department for the period of summer holidays. In the event that repairs and maintenance of a specific classroom that is entered in the booking system are necessary, it will be blocked from the booking system in advance by the building manager for the period of repair and maintenance.
 
Hartig Palace (HP)  
●    The HP concierge desk will be open on weekdays only, from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; keys can be borrowed and returned at the LP concierge desk,  
●    For all HAMU employees the faculty premises, which are in HP, will be accessible on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays the faculty is closed. The closure is necessary due to the implementation of repairs and general cleaning of the premises.  
●    For students of the Department of Dance and the Department of Nonverbal Theatre, the corresponding areas will be accessible from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., including the release of the locker rooms (after which the locker rooms must be released for cleaning); the faculty is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.  
●    For students of the Department of Brass Instruments, the corresponding areas will be accessible on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; the faculty is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. 

Students will be allowed access to the faculty for the purpose of training and practicing only on the basis of enrollment in the reservation system to specific classrooms and premises of the relevant department, which have been designated by the head of the relevant department for the period of summer holidays. In the event that repairs and maintenance of a specific classroom that is entered in the booking system are necessary, it will be blocked out in advance by the building administrator for the necessary time during the repair and maintenance period in the booking system. 
●    From Monday 1 July 2024 to Sunday 1 September 2024, the office hours of all administrative offices, except the Study Department, are set for Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 
●    The Study Department will be closed from 15.7.2024 to 9.8.2024. Between 2.7.2024 and 11.7.2024 and from 13.8.2024 to 1.9.2024, office hours are set for Tuesdays to Thursdays from 10:00 to 13:00. 
●    Dean's Secretariat - the operation of the Secretariat is ensured throughout the summer vacation period, in case of the Dean's vacation a substitute is provided, information is available in the Dean's Secretariat. 
●    The library will be closed to the public from 1 July 2024 to 1 September 2024. Urgent cases can be dealt with by telephone (tel: 234 244 191 or 234 244 193). 
●    The sound studio will be closed for recording from 8 July to 25 August 2024 - a technological shutdown for repairs and maintenance of the studio equipment. Office hours of the studio office are from 8 July to 31 August 2024 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. 
●    Technical administration of HAMU - service is available on line 121,115 or 116 and on mobile numbers 777 888 603 (Ing. Jan Křeček), 778 427 115 (Luboš Augusta), 732 976 633 (Matěj Soukup) or (602 378 064) Břetislav Čaňo. In case of unavailability of these contacts or outside working hours, the emergency call centre is located at the Liechtenstein Palace concierge on line 111. 

ARTICLE 2
OPENING HOURS OF THE FACULTY CAFÉ

from 01. 07. to 01. 09. 2024 closed - holidays 
from 30.07. to 28.08. 2024 open from 6 p.m. to 24 p.m. 
(only during the Summer Shakespeare Festival performances)    

ARTICLE 3
FINAL PROVISIONS

This Decree shall enter into force on the date of its issue and shall be effective from 1 July 2024 to 1 September 2024.
